Shoe Pouch: Use Nike+iPod Sport Kit with any shoes

A little over a year ago, Nike came out with the Nike+iPod Sport Kit. The rub? only Nike+ shoes feature a built-in pocket under the insole specially engineered for the Nike+iPod sensor. So, to get the best out of the product you'd have to invest in a pretty pricey pair of Nike+ shoes.
The Shoe Pouch, designed by Grantwood Technology, allows runners and walkers alike to use the Nike+iPod Sport Kit with any type of shoe (Rebok, Keds, New Balance, and my favorite Asics). The Shoe Pouch, made of snug-fitting neoprene, matches the correct alignment of the sensor, completely covers the sensor and attaches through the laces for excellent security.

Dress your shoelaces in diamonds

Sigh. Don't you hate it when you have an extra $7500 laying around and you don't know what to do with it?
If so, then I can't relate to you at all. But what I can do is suggest an outrageous way to spend what could otherwise help finance a child's future education: KickBars, sparkling adornments for your shoelaces. They can be custom designed and purchased with two carats of rubies, emeralds, or other stones, but the original ones are made of 54 round-cut diamonds (VS1 clarity, G color) set into 14K white gold.
Now, I'm not sure if the $7500 market price is for a single KickBar or a pair, but really, the more important question to ask here is this: What the heck are your shoelaces made of? Because if the answer isn't "crushed diamonds spun into thread," then diamond-studded shoelace clips are pretty silly.

Thigh Sighs: Swiss engineering in sports sneakers

If you're shoe-obsessed, you're used to sticker-shock on red-soled Louboutins and high-heeled Manolo's, but the $245+ sticker price for the ugly, awkward, and un-hippest (hip-slimming) shoes on the market might make you pause before making the investment. MBT shoe-design is based on Masai Barefoot Technology, which simulates the "rolling" experience of walking in sand.
The shoes themselves are an eyesore, they're the foot equivalent of "granny panties." But, then again so are Ugg boots and Crocs, and if our 21st century culture has taught us anything, it's that beauty can come in the form of a beast. MBTs are a unique experience. Touted by Bliss Spa and others as inch-reducing footwear they're nearly an urban shoe myth shared among curious and disbelieving women.
