Metromint has just introduced a spearmint variety to complement their popular peppermint water.

Mint water?? Perhaps you aren't familiar with Metromint's original product. Introduced in 2004 at the Fancy Foods Show, their peppermint water created a whole new category for the bottled water biz. This unique product provides an interesting twist to boring bottled water with no additional calories and no artificial additives or ingredients... only pure natural, refreshing mint flavor. Metromint tells us "not only does [their product] provide rapid refreshment and an instant cooling sensation, it also provides several natural benefits: mint calms the nerves, soothes and revives the body, stimulates the brain and energizes the senses." The spearmint sibling was debuted a couple of weeks ago at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California.

I'm a huge fan of the peppermint variety, which boasts a stronger mint as compared to the spearmint kind. Think gum... peppermint for that bold coolness, spearmint for that subtle something.

Mmmmmmmmm. Minty!
