We love this iPhone app which allows you to play a retro tape on your phone! Information about the artist and the song is scribbled on the front of the casette too AND it spins realistically while it's playing.
Available from iTunes for $1.99.

At Apple's highly anticipated "let's talk iPhone" event today, the big tech brand made a number of interesting announcements, iOS 5 will be available from October 12th, there'll be a new version of the iPad Touch which will come in white as well as black and who can forget the new handset, the iPhone 4S.
As Apple fans and tech geeks all over the world await the launch of the iPhone 5 next week, those with enough money to burn are much more interested in the luxury handset market.
Nokia's luxury division, called Vertu, has recently added a new diamond encrusted QWERTY keyboard into its handset range and wow does it look fancy!
At $6,800 the phone isn't for the regular iPhone or BlackBerry user, with its gold frame, multiple diamond encrusted case and keys made of precious stones.
It's not just nice to look at either, it has a pretty capable built-in camera and Nokia's new operating system inside.
Now we admit it's very impressive, but would you ever want to use it out in public? It's probably just one to sit back and admire for now!
Quora is a quirky platform that launched last year, which basically allows users to ask and answer all kinds of questions. You can follow subjects, people or even questions if you're interested in finding out the answers yourself. Think of it as a handy forum or even Yahoo Answers which is full of good stuff, not spam!
It seems the ones that are most effective are those that require people to get their minds working, so even if they lay back down again they feel awake - well, that's the idea anyway!
This is why we think the Wake n' Shake app could become really popular, because it requires users to shake their phones vigorously before it stops pestering you with a standard, high pitched ringing noise.
Wake n' Shake is available from iTunes for £0.69.
In light of all the nudie photos hacked from celeb phones these days, might we suggest that this is the perfect gift for any public star in your life.
Mobile Security software from Total Defense is a software suite made specifically to protect smartphones. If Scarlett Johansson had Mobile Security, those embarrassing photos of her backside wouldn't have been splashed all over the internet last week. Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake could also have avoided some very public, ah... exposure.
Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez need to put Total Defense on their wish lists, too.
Here’s what you get:
• Support for Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Symbian mobile phone platforms (sorry, no iPhone version yet.)
• Anti-virus and anti-spyware detection and removal
• Remote lock and wipe for lost/stolen devices
• Remote backup of personal data with easy restore to new devices
• Remote GPS locate to find lost and stolen phones
• Anti-spam and firewall filters to eliminate unwanted messages
• Parental controls and monitoring
We think the "remote lock and wipe" would be especially handy. Of course, this assumes that the celebs didn’t "leak" the photos deliberately. There’s no defense against that.
$24.99 for a year subscription at Total Defense.
There are so many apps available at the moment, especially those designed for note taking and to-do lists, that we've been a bit overwhelmed for the last few months! Sure Evernote is great and syncs up with any device, but we've been looking for something a bit more... fun and we think we may have found that with Clibe.
