Thermal Snack Jar

thermalsnackjar.jpg

I'm always looking for good ways to carry my own lunches and snacks. This Thermal Snack Jar appeals because of its compact shape and integrated utensil holder. I also like the child's bento-box style. I can imagine whipping it out at mealtimes and being the happiest big kid in the playground, though it is probably more suited for little kids than grown ups.

I definitely had one of those in elementary/middle school. In pink. My mom used to pack pastas and soups and stuff in it. I think she still uses it from time to time. But that thing lasted for EVER. And the combination fork/spoon - a pain to clean if you don't have a dishwasher, but it goes through the dishwasher well enough. It wasn't too difficult to use (of course, I still have smaller than average hands, so my itty-bitty child hands might not be the best gauge for that)
