This quirky little gadget is designed to give you a warm, comforting hug when no one else is around. But will it really make a difference?

It may seem like a weird idea, but designers Park Jinmi and Kwak Jinsub created the Hug Light to offer owners heat and light therapy to mimic a hug when they're feeling a little low, stressed out or have stomach pains. They believe it's a much better way to deal with problems because it's emotional, non-invasive and might be an alternative to medication.
