We're Giving You the Feinger
It's been a wacky week for gadgets here at our office, first with the Cowbell, a political noisemaker app, then we were ptiched a bullet-proof iPad case (just exactly where do you live?) but this one if our favorite yet-- the Feinger Now, a device for securing your mobile devices to your hand. Bascially, it allows you to wear your cell phone like a ring, leaving your hands free.
Comprised of three main components - the Knuckle, the Sleeve, and the Unimount (with and without lanyard) - the Feinger attaches to any smartphone, cell phone, portable gaming systems and many other handheld devices. A neoprene sleeve (available in three sizes) fits around a user’s finger, attaching to a ball-and-socket joint that clips into the Unimount.
Once attached, you can pop and lock your device to your hand, around your neck, on your arm, car, home, office and anywhere you can find a flat surface for the small clip. The Knuckle and Unimount are designed in a way to allow for 360 degree rotation of your mobile device, for viewing and use at any angle, regardless of what you're doing. (The options are mind-boggling.).
You can pre-order ($14.95) through the site and they will donate $5 to the WISH-TV Channel 8 Tornado Relief Fund, benefitting the citizens of southern Indiana affected by recent storm damage.
Note: When choosing your Feinger Sleeve size consider the following - Small sleeves fit ring sizes 3 - 7, Medium: ring sizes 8 -11, Large: ring sizes 12-16
