We all know the team at Facebook like to be a little bit quirky, what with their flip flops and silly business cards! But today those crazy kids at the social network's HQ have gone one step further and painted a HUGE 42ft QR code to the top of their roof...
We're not sure it's particularly useful, but it is a pretty cool stunt!

There are some pretty advanced cameras on the market nowadays, check out the Lytro, a device that allows you to focus your shots AFTER you've taken them. Cool, huh? But we weren't expecting scientists at MIT to create a camera that can actually see around corners anytime soon...
Well a new camera is being developed that sends light pulses to blind spots in order to work out the position of objects even if they can't be seen, meaning we can take photos of things round corners with ease. Think of it a little like sonar, but with light.
Check out the video above for a detailed rundown of exactly how it works. In the meantime let's cross our fingers that the clever ' corner camera' will be around in time for us to add it to our Christmas lists at the end of the year!
The Warm On pebbles have been dreamt up to stop your bath turning cold after you've been laying in it for a long time. They're designed to monitor and radiate heat to ensure the water constantly stays at the same temperature. Clever, huh?
The main aim would be to stop you wasting hot water by adding more, but we do wonder how much energy would be taken up by activating the pebbles?! Either way, they're a great concept and ideal for those that love long, relaxing bath times!

We love discovering new Etsy sellers, especially those that make cool products for our gadgets! Our favourite this week has to be the NapPage cases, a range of clever and cute decoupage phone cases available for the iPhone, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS AND the Blackberry.
Although we sometimes shy away from the super girly designs, we love the rose-themed case above, and it's a great one if you're looking to brighten up for Spring!
Available from Etsy for $19.99.

Didn't have the $7,500 for a tix to Ted this year? Us neither. So go to Netflix. No, we're not suggesting you drown your sorrow in a Rom-Com - Netflix has grouped choice TED conversations into 14 themed 2 hr shows (e.g. Beauty/Fashion, Icons, Space, nature, men’s interest, Sex, Secrets and Love) – available to watch instantly starting today, Thursday 3/15. Here's a few sessions we intend on tackling:
Richard Branson talking his career and near death experiences, Bono on
African aid, Pres Al Gore talking climate, Isaac Mizrahi and his inspirations,
General Stanley McChrystal on lessons about leadership, etc.
And that's just for starters. (Netflix will add additional themes in the weeks to come.)
We guarantee you'll be inspired.
We do love the innovative concept designs featured on Yanko Design, but the Spider has to be our favourite and possibly the coolest gadget we've EVER seen.
The Spider Computer is a small, portable device that projects both a screen and a keyboard onto any flat surface. This means you can take it with you to give you a computer on-the-go, wherever you may be, which is pretty exciting and revolutionary!
However, it's not just a clever computer, when you're travelling around you can use it as a mobile phone too.
The Spider Computer is obviously an early concept design, so let's not get too excited just yet. But that doesn't mean we can't dream about a world without aching shoulders and huge laptop bags!

There are a lot of great iPad cases around at the moment, but we love the Cloak cover as it acts as a stand at all different levels and keeps your iPad safe too. As it's featured on Quirky it obviously looks lovely and the sleek design with its bright pop of colour makes us all dreamy!
Unfortunately the Cloak case is only for the first generation iPad, so if you're lucky enough to have an iPad 2, or even a THIRD GENERATION device (go you) then you'll have to look elsewhere. Still, it's a pretty unique design and we think the bright colour is ideal for the summer months!
Available from Quirky for $29.99.
We usually like our phone cases to be as slick, portable and stylish as possible, but the iPhone Mug Case is none of those things.
It's a case that's also a mug. Well kind of. It's got a huge handle, which makes it easy to grab and acts as a make-shift stand too, but you won't be able to store your coffee in it properly unfortunately.
Available from iWowcase for $16.66.

Another day; another set of headphones. Yes, it's tough being a gadget reviewer.
While we grab a set of earbuds when we're headed to the gym, for hi-fidelity sound, we almost always go for a pair of Creative headphones, such as the Aurvana, or now, for the new HN-900, noise cancelling headphones with an online mic.
The cleverly concealed microphones in the earcups pick up surrounding noises and then electronically negate sounds, effectively reducing the noise by up to 85%. Neodymium drivers let you enjoy music the way it was meant to be heard, and since the audio cable comes with an in-line microphone, you won't miss any calls on your iPhone. The cable can be detached and the noise-canceling feature turned on - great for times when all you want is peace and quiet, such as a plane ride. And for those of us who keep forgetting to add new batteries, if the headphones run out of power, you can still use them in the passive mode without noise cancellation.
The HN's become instantly portable by folding the earcups flat and storing them in the pouch.
Well-worth 100 bucks.
NOTE: While you can listen to music with your headphones from other devices, media control using the cable's in-line switch works only with iPhones, iPods and iPads.
