This is your iPad. This is your iPad two weeks before the new iPad3 launch.
NextWorth, the company that gives you cash for your "old" electronics, came up with this graph, using stats from ebay. As you can see, 2-3 weeks before the launch of a new product, the last generation declines in value. Expect to see this pattern before the new iPad3 comes out (rumored to be March 7.)
To help consumers trade-in early to maximize value, NextWorth locks in values for 21 days. Values quoted today hold true, as long as the device is dropped at UPS by the 21st day (free shipping label provided).
They inspect it and then pay you for it, so you can put it towards the next model. If you're gadget-fiends like us, you'll end up doing this a LOT.
There are so many quirky products and online tools to help you make the most of your Instagram snaps, but we love the idea of InstaMatch, a cute way of turning your photos into a memory game!
InstaMatch is an app, which allows you to use popular photos to match snaps together that have the same subject, play with your own photos or sync up with friends for a fun photo-based game and a firm favourite among little ones or photography lovers!
Available from iTunes.

Prada has launched a new range of leather iPad cases that we've fallen just a little bit in love with. Yes they're quite girly, but they look good and keep our favourite gadget wrapped up in leather and a fancy Prada heart design.
They come in black, white and pink and are currently available for $310. Ouch. Then again, we wouldn't expect anything less from the famous fashion house though...

No, Apple hasn't made some crazy, secretive announcement about its next new device, the MacPad Pro is just a concept design by Jules Moretti, which integrates the touchscreen of the iPad into both the main display and the keyboard of this laptop/tablet hybrid.
Moretti sees this kind of device as the next step forward for Apple, allowing you to interact with both screens, hold the laptop up anyway you please and not feel restricted by a standard keyboard.
We're not sure whether Apple will be taking any tips from this interesting prototype at the moment, but it sure is a lovely idea.

Last night in Hollywood, Sony held a ritzy launch party for the PS Vita, a much-needed replacement for the PlayStation Portable, and the new gadget was the belle of the ball. The hand-held Vita expands on the last gen PSP; pumps up the processing power, adds optional 3G, dual analog sticks, and a dazzingly bright, colorful 5-inch OLED touch screen.
Out of the box, we were impressed with features like the 3G connectivity (additional fees apply), front and rear cameras, motion sensors and augmented reality and the social media connectivity. (The Vita nationwide launch is February 22, but you can pre-order on the Sony site.)
But back to the party, which had celebs galore, and a game -themed futuristic space. Pete Wentz DJ-ed long into the night with Jesse Marco also taking over the turntables. All the stars were gifted the Vita and some, like Modern Familys' Nolan Gould, immediatly tore open the box and showed off his gaming skills, which were projected on an electronic game display wall.
The stud-ly Liam Hemsworth ( "Hunger Games") and Josh Duhamel chatted about the "biz" and Josh revealed himself to be quite the gadget geek.
"Hugo" star Chloe Moretz hung with Patrick Schwarzenegger, but left at 9pm clutching her PS Vita, to beat curfew.
Prices start at $249 for the new Vita. We'll let you know if it really is a game changer after we have logged some hours playing it.
The GoPad device essentially straps your iPad to your chest, yes it looks a bit ridiculous, but we can imagine it being really useful for doctors or teachers. We think...
Available from GoPad.

This clothes hanger design seems so simple we can't believe no one's thought of it before?! To stop you stretching those fancy clothes out of shape, just pinch the contraption together and slide it into that shirt. Simple. It's made from Polypropylene and Elastomer mix, meaning its super flexible yet still pings back into its original shape to be hung up like a regular coat hanger.

Who doesn't love the Yanko Design site, with it's radical new ideas and beautifully designed products from electronic gadgets to a living room chair? It's frustrating however, when some of the gizmos are just product ideas and never make it to the market.
So we love the Yanko Store, where many of the spec designs are available to buy. We bought these "Speak-ers," for their whimsical design but the sound quality is excellent. Despite their diminutive size, they manage to fill an entire room with a solid bass, a good mid-range, and superior high-notes.
Here's some tech specs:

You've heard of "re-gifting" but what about "self-gifting?" We're big fans, especially on days like Valentine's when even if you have a mate, they may be at a loss. So say thank your for the giant -sized box of chocolates and secretly check out our suggestions:
Did you know that when you meet a guy for the first time, studies show that he spends more than half that talk time just looking at your lips? (It could be worse.)
Treat yourself to a sexier pair of lips with Bliss Fabulips, with cork tree extract and peptide-inflating complex. It volumizes that pucker but doesn't dry out your lips.Check out all the products at Sephora. Oh-la-la.
What gal doesn't love some new mascara? Pick up the NXY "Boudoir Mascara Collection," with seven formulas and distinctive wands, each promising lengthening, and curled lashes.
For instance, the "Le Frou Frou" volumizes and lengthens lashes, using a dense "dome brush" to reach each lash, where as the "Pin-Up Tease" darkens and curl lashes with a hard bristle comb to separate and curl lashes.
So far, our favorite is "Za Za Zu" which is perfect for a night out. Fiber-infused to darken, lengthen, and volumize, it ues a soft, bristle brush large enough to cover all lashes in one swipe.
At $6 a pop, you can buy the entire collection for less than you'd pay for some brand's mascara.
We're wearing Maybelline's "Baby Lips" on a daily basis and already our lips look better - not chapped and baby - dewy. Besides loving the price ($3.99) we're mooning over the six tints. And sorry about the "Pink Punch," my favorite color, which is sold out. I bought one for all of the girlfriend's this V-day. As an added bonus, each mositurizing balm has an SFP of 20, essential these days. Oh-baby.
