Some would say it's not much of a stretch, but singer Katy Perry is officailly set to become a cartoon, well, a Sims character actually.

Katy signed on to helped develop in-game content and virtual goods for the popular Sims series. The relationship kicks off with a special Collector’s Edition for The Sims 3 "Showtime", launching in March 2012.

The purple/blue/pink-haired singer, who already resembles a very cute Sim, set a record with her Simlish version of her hit ‘Hot and Cold’ featured in The Sims 2 series which is still EA's most popular video to date.
