Holiday Gift Guide
Make anything your speaker with the Vibe-It bullet-shaped gizmo. For example, use your beach cooler for your amp or the empty soda can on your desk. Or, plug in any standard 3.5mm headphone jack to hear your tunes.
Anything hollow can be a potential speaker and the bigger and more empty the object, the bigger the sound gets. Just put two AAA batteries in your Vibe-It or use your computer as the power source (using aUSB chord.) It also works with iPod, DS, PSP or portable DVD players but really, isn't a big cardboad box more fun?
The Vibe-It works as an acoustic generator, you see. Clever? You bet. And chances are good no one else has seen these yet so they make a perfect holdiay gift for your gadget-minded friends.
$24.95 at Vibe-It.
iFrogz for the Holidays
Two of our favorite iPhone 4/ 4s cases this season are from iFrogz. Take the Breeze (pictured) with it's unique "aerated" look. Designed of shock-absorbent TPU, it has a clever addition - an edge that protects your phone when it's facedown.
Our next fave,The Mix, is fashion-forward and practical. Unlike some other cases, the vibrant patterns are manufactured within the mold, so the color doesn’t rub off. And like the Breeze, it has a raised, ribbed, TPU edge to provide maximum protection, Both cases
Gadget Girl Leggings
Even us gadget girls need a few good pairs of fahion-forward leggings and we found some with "hardware!" Designer David Lerner has revolutionized boring leggings by incorporating hardware elements such as heavy metal zippers, hook and eye closures, even lace and sequin embellishments. And by combining different tonal and fabric combinations with varied seam detailing, even the simple black leggings are a fasion statement.
We're fans of the front leather legging featuring front leather paneling with 2 back welted pockets, ($396.) and the Cross Bandage Legging witha cross panel inset at waist, and exposed zipper detail at front. ($143.)
