New fashion site donates sales to charity
A new flash sale fashion site called Community Collection is set to change the way we shop online by donating 20% of its profits to a charity which the designers choose.
Featured on Mashable last week, the new ecommerce site offers 30 day flash sales from designers such as Helmut Land and Alexander Wang. However, their clothing isn't discounted, but focuses on giving a percentage of sales to charity instead.
It'll be interesting to see whether people prefer to buy products from the website because of its charitable donations, but the site's founders aim to give customers even more of an incentive in the future by stocking limited edition collections and much more exclusive products.
