In My Fridge provides people with a better understanding of food

We love this fridge design from Fabian Kreuzer and Markus Lorenz Schilling which was featured on Yanko Design last week.
It's part of a new project called In My Fridge, which aims to simplify the process of food management by using RFID technology to collect data about quantity of food, expiration dates and even recipes. All of the information is displayed on a handy touchscreen, which also allows the owner to see what's inside without opening the door.
It's an innovative idea which we're convinced could not only help reduce the amount of food we all throw away each year, but could also help us to be more aware when it comes to what we're putting into our bodies.
