Sonar and Linkedin make networking more interesting

sonar-app.jpg

A location app called Sonar that tells you which of your social media contacts is around you is now moving to Linkedin, making professional networking events much more interesting.

The app launched earlier in the year and helps you to find which of your contacts have checked-in around you, letting you get in touch with anyone you find is nearby directly through the app itself.

This kind of application would certainly be a good ice-breaker at awkward networking events, assuming you recognize the right the person from their profile. Hmm, getting the wrong would be even more AWKWARD.
