Fuse Power Slice

Fuse3.jpg

Sometimes gadgets look good on paper, like the new Fuse Power Slice which aims to consolidate your charging requirements.

The device lets you charge up to four gadgets on one plug, using the built in USB port, including Samsung, LG and iPhone Smartphones, Micro and Mini USB and iPods. Priced at $44.99 for the universal charger base unit – additional slices are $9.99 each.

But the UFO-shaped base unit feels flimsy, and to connect to the appropriate "slice" you have to take your iPhone, Blackberry etc out of the case. Even then, the connection doesn’t feel secure.

Back to the drawing board, girls and boys.
