Coffee and soup warmers for winter

This is a lovely time of year, it's always really bright and the leaves are falling off the trees, but unfortunately it's also getting much cooler (well, here in the UK anyway).
So, we've been looking out for some soup and coffee warmers to see you through winter and keep your insides and outsides nice and toasty. Here are some of our favourites, from the cheap and practical solution through to the innovative concept design.
Soup and coffee solutions

This Laptop Buddy mug warmer may not look very exciting, but it promises to heat any kind of beverage to 45 - 50 degrees C and only requires a USB port to get started.
$9.99 from Amazon.

The Cortina heating system concept was designed by Gergo Kassai and was recently featured on Yanko Design.
It works using induction technology, which means heat is generated in the pot at the bottom, not in the compartment at the top, making it much quicker and more efficient to warm up your soup!

We've featured these cute little guys before, Joulies keep your coffee (or any drink for that matter) warm if you want it warm and cold if you want it cold! Clever, right? Watch the video to see just how they work.

If you'd rather keep your coffee warm in your car as you commute to work, then try one of the many car charging mugs available on the market. We like this simple silver one which is light and fitted with a special no-spill lid.
$9.27 from Amazon.

Another concept from one of our favourite blogs, Yanko Design, the Boog Coffee Warmer maintains the ideal temperature for your coffee, all you have to do is just put it into your cup and pull the tab at the top to activate the heat.
