The Astroclip makes astrophotography easy

the-astroclip1.jpg

The Astroclip from designer Matthew Geyster is a clever yet simple attachment which mounts an iPhone 4 to a telescope, allowing the user to take steady photographs of the night sky.

The device works on any telescope with a 1.25" eyepiece, but Matthew writes on The Astroclip's Kickstarter page that most telescopes will be compatible.

The small yet sturdy attachment allows an iPhone 4 to be snapped into it, which is then secured with tiny screws.

Matthew Geyster has added The Astroclip to Kickstarter and he's currently looking for backers to help him reach his $15,000 goal, but only for the next 18 days. You can make a pledge of $1 to simply back the project or $25 to receive an Astroclip yourself.
