Research in Motion (RIM) has already begun rolling out its highly anticipated music service called, you guessed it, BBM Music.

There are a range of interesting features set to be included in the new music service, such as personal music profiles of your 50 favourite songs, sharing and interacting with the rest of the BBM community and offline listening, as well as much, much more.

Many online commentators are already saying that the service is doomed, but as many of RIM's phones have such a dedicated following, it could well turn out to be an unexpected success, but of course only time will tell...

BBM Music has launched in BETA in the US, Canada and the UK.
