Joulies keep your coffee warm
If you're making or drinking your morning coffee in a hurry you'll find that it's often too hot when you first try to sip it. Ignore it for a few minutes and unfortunately it'll then be lukewarm and disappointing. There rarely seems to be a happy medium!
Well, the cute little Joulies, dreamt up by Dave Petrillo and Dave Jackson, were designed to stop this regular occurance from ever happening again.
Simply put a Joulie in the bottom of your tea or coffee. The inside of the cute little coffee bean-like gizmo then melts (don't worry, it's non-toxic and covered with a stainless steel shell) and absorbs the heat energy from the drink. Once the material solidifies it then releases this energy. So, your usual hot drink will cool down quicker than usual but then stay warmer for much longer.
The Joulie was recently on Kickstarter and fortunately received a sufficient amount of funding from backers. Although they're not available for the general public quite yet, you can sign up to be notified when they're officially launched over at the Coffee Joulies website.
