How to watch the lunar eclipse today

According to experts, the lunar eclipse that will occur later today will be the first total eclipse of moon in 2011 and possibly the longest in well over a decade.

Unfortunately for some, the entire eclipse will only be visible from east Africa, the Middle East, central Asia and western Australia, with some parts of Europe and south America seeing the latter stages.

So, if you're in North America, in order to see the whole thing you'll need to log onto Google's official YouTube channel where the amazing natural event will be streamed live along with a narration from some top astrologers.

Nothing beats staring up at the sky and seeing such a momentous event, but at least Google are on hand to show you just what you're missing out on!
