Solar-powered light made of butterflies
This beautiful chandelier by designer Jeroen Verhoeven consists of hundreds of fake butterflies made from photovoltaic cells. The fluttery little creatures collect solar energy from the sunshine throughout the day, which is then used to power the light in the middle on a night.
We love that not only is this creation utilising solar energy, but it looks incredible! Unfortunately it's a one-off at the moment as is currently hanging in the Blain|Southern, a gallery in London.
