Lighting concept gives you a high five

I'd love to say that I always turn things off when I leave a room, but like everyone there are times when I forget, which is a massive drain on energy and money as well.

In order to address this problem and encourage people to turn off lights and electrical products when they leave a room, designer Da Deng has come up with the idea of the Bye-5 switch. The light is shaped like a hand and even has a skin-like texture, encouraging people to give it a big high five as they leave the room!

According to OhGizmo it's only a concept at the moment, but would be a handy addition to any office or home in a bid to cut down on electricity.
