How would you redesign the kitchen knife?

A designer called Jongwoo Chai has set about redesigning the standard kitchen knife in an attempt to make it easier to use for elderly people.

The current design of our knives means that the main force needs to be exerted on the handle in a strong pushing motion. However the solution, called the Swing Capsule, is made up of a handle which can actually rotate around the sharp blade meaning weight is distributed more evenly, making it much easier to use.

However, if the user feels they don't need the rotating handle, or someone else more capable needs to use the device, it can easily be pushed back to look and work like a normal knife.
