Satio: The Ulimate Cameraphone

Last week, mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson, announced the release of a trio of phones that will put the company back in the running for phone dominance. One of these devices is the Satio. Billing itself as the "ultimate multimedia experience," the Satio has some cool features that will definitely appeal to the amateur photographer in all of us.
With a 3.5 inch, 16:9 widescreen format with 640 x 360 pixels for a crystal clear view. The touchscreen menu provides easy access to your favorite media including your favorite images, videos, and webpages. Satio is being run on a Symbian OS which is a plus since there are tons of apps already available when the phone goes to market
Originally codenamed the Ideo, the Satio's biggest sellling point without a doubt is the camera. At 12.1 megapixels this camera is serious. With 12x digital zoom, face and smile detection, auto focus, and xenon flash, some people might opt for the phone in lieu of getting an actual point-and-click camera.

Available in black, silver, and bordeaux, the Satio has an internal memory of 128 MB but is equipped to handled SanDisk microSDs so you'll never have to worry about not having enough space for that last incredible photo. Ericsson even includes an 8GB memory card when the phone ships to get users started on the right foot.
Scheduled to ship in early Q4, the Satio phone enthusiaists should definitely keep their eyes open for this unique device.
