Transcend introduces Card Reader of a Different Color
Back in January, international memory upgrade manufacturer, Transcend Information Inc. unveiled the P8, an 8-in-one card reader. Compatible with SDHC, CF, SD, MMCmobile, MMCplus, MMC, RS-MMC, microSD, microSDHC, just to name a few, the P8 has become a best seller for the company with good reason. Each card slot is clearly labeled to eliminate any confusion on what goes where and it's also "lightning fast" -- simply connect it to any USB port and your files are instantly transferred.
Originally only available in black and white, Transcend has decided to add a bit of color to the series with the addition of aqua and rose models. But no worries, besides the color swap, the compact 77.7mm x 46mm x 15.8mm gizmo is still rocking the streamlined design and rounded edges that makes the P8 easy on the eyes and your pants pocket.
It also retains the sweet photo recovery software that allows you to retrieve files that you previously thought were lost for good. Did I mention the software was free? With a few simple clicks that important business presentation that you accidentally deleted is back from the digital graveyard good as new.
Compatible with Windows Vista, XP, 2000, ME as well as MacOS 9.x or later and Linux Kernel 2.4.2, or later the P8 is a good investment for people that want a fast card reader that can handle all the current card formats. Retailing on the site's store for a mere $13.99, the P8 8-in-one card reader is simply a must have.
