Sony Vaio: Style and Function
For all you feisty fashionistas out there looking for the perfect gadget to complement your ensemble, Sony Japan may have you covered. As companies begin to design machines that are stylish and functional, Sony wants a piece of the luxe pie. On April 18, Sony Japan will be unveiling their answer to the Dell Adamo and the MacBook Air in the newest addition to the Sony Vaio C series.

Called the CS series, the next three additions to the Vaio line will be decked out in crocodile skin -- sike! While the exterior looks like it high quality leather, it's actually made of plastic used to copy the texture of the toothy fashion staple. Priced at 104,800 yen, approximately $1,047, the CS series comes in red, brown, and pink. Aside from the chi-chi new exterior, there's nothing to differentiate them from their C-series brethren. But in a world where looks are becoming just important as function, it may not matter all that much.
Sony is currently taking preorders for the stylin' hardware. Unfortunately, there's no word from Sony if the Limited Edition CS will be making the swim over to the states.
