DYI Arduino Wristwatch

Arduino is an easy to use prototyping platform for physical computing. The beauty of it is that it simplifies the whole process of programming micro-controller chips and sensors for the weekend hacker. Franklin Chang, a psycholinguist who is soon to be teaching in Seoul, created a sweet digital wrist watch, using the Arduino mini pro. The nokia 3310 lcd screen displays the time and is powered by the re-chargeable lithium coin cell battery. I just really like the mix of plastic casing, grey lcd screen, and knit wrist band. It makes me want to try to get back into physical computing, which I've been threatening to do for years since finishing grad school.
