Bellysonic speaker pouch plays music to baby

The benefits of reading and playing music to babies have long been documented, but few satisfactory solutions have been designed to attach a music player to a pregnant woman's stomach.

The Bellysonic is a new speaker pouch designed to change all that. It includes a speaker splitter so both you and your baby can listen to the same song at the same time via your MP3 player (or CD player, if that's the way you roll). It costs $79.99.

If you don't fancy splashing out on the Bellysonic though, you could do what my friends and I always did when listening to tapes together and put one headphone in your ear, and give the other to the baby.
