Target has brought out the Digital Camera GiftCard to generate interest in the otherwise bare gift card option. With the Digital Camera GiftCard, for an initial $50 that you put into the card, you get an actual 1.2MP camera with 8MB storage to hold 50 pictures. And like all digital cameras, it runs on battery (2 AAA), and has a self-timer. The package includes a USB cord and a coupon for 40 free prints from Target. No great specs there, you will surely be appreciated for sparing an extra thought to your gift.

The gift certificates that you can further add to the card range in denominations between $50 - $1000. According to Gamertell, the gift cards are disappearing pretty quickly (there is one selling on eBay for a measley $5.25!), so run along and make hay while the sun still shines.
