Plastica makes a thermos for food (at last!)

Is the plural of thermos "thermoses" or "thermice"?
While you're pondering that, allow me to introduce you to this fabulous new food thermos from Plastica. The problem with storing soups and stews in a traditional thermos is that the top is never wide enough to pour out a decent portion - leaving your chicken noodles or chunky vegetables languishing uneaten at the bottom of the flask.
Plastica's Thermos Food Jar costs $30 and is made especially to store and pour any kind of hot food. It will keep your stew steaming for 12 hours and chill your gazpacho for 20. Even better, there's an integrated spoon so you don't have to gulp your soup out of a cup (I hate that).
I don't think it's too early to order one or two in time for your Memorial Day picnic, do you?

Funny, my mom showed me a little trick 30 years ago when I was packing my lunches for school. She taught me how to use a wide mouth funnel that fit the mouth of the thermos. Can usually be found for under a couple of dollars, good with pretty much any regular thermos. No integrated spoon but I never found it an inconvenience to bring my own.

firstly I think it may be "thermi"
secondly, I think they already made wide mouthed thermi. I had one through highschool and I'm pretty sure it had the thermos logo on it too and not some obscure random knockoff. It did a great job of keeping soup hot and facilitated chunky stews even. Okay it didnt have a spoon caddy, but an elastic band could solve that if it was such a problem.
The handle on the lid of this one is a nice addition though couldnt they add a handle AND allow it to lay flat when upside down (in case I want to use it as a bowl for a friend perhaps?)
