WooMe.com online speed dating for Valentine's fun

So it’s Valentine’s Day (insert virtual vomit here). Now, you could spend $60 a month on eHarmony, getting paired with all the people you wouldn’t date, or spend $0 and post a personal ad on craigslist and get about the same result. But, I’m suggesting that you try a new online service, WooMe.

WooMe takes a very fun hybrid approach to online dating through virtual speed dating. It’s ridiculously easy to meet people who share your interests, and it's also a lot of fun.

The service is free and users don’t have to spend a gazillion hours filling out a lengthy profile page or form. Live sessions start between 5-11PM PT. Here’s how the 3-step model works:

1.
Sign up and search for a Woo session (e.g. Huffington Post readers NYC)
2. Meet people live (you’ll need a mic, speakers, and preferably a web cam)
3. Pick who woos you and spend more time getting to know him/her.

Within minutes of signing up myself, I was nudged by a few adorable guys and, you know, it was way more fun than first dating, blind dating, or online dating.

Visit WooMe.com.
