Don't open that Valentine's Day e-card!
In case you're tempted to open that tantalizing e-card with the subject line "from your secret admirer," think again. The FBI warned Tuesday about a destructive "Trojan horse" hiding in e-cards that hijacks computers. "If you unexpectedly receive a Valentine's Day e-card, be careful," the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a statement, warning Internet users to "be on the lookout for spam emails spreading the Storm Worm malicious software (malware).
This is not new -- every holiday malicious hackers capitalize by sending bogus emails with an e-mail card link within the text. Bottom line : if you don't know who it's from, don't open it. And for all you suitors out there, buy a card and send it snail mail.
