Portable FOZI tripod fits in wallet

fozi-tripod.jpg

Whenever my husband and I are on vacation, there's always a moment when I wish we were either famous enough for paparazzi to follow us or rich enough to hire a photographer. Whatever would eliminate having to assess the mental state of strangers to make sure they won't 1) run away with our digital camera or 2) shriek at us for asking them to take our picture as we ham it up in front of some sort of landmark, would probably be worth it.

Australian company Timetale obviously sympathizes with the traveling couple's plight, as their new folding FOZI tripod makes setting up timed shots quick and easy just about anywhere there's a flat surface. The credit-card-sized tripod is made of "natural polypropylene" (oxymoron, no?) and folds down flat for storage in a wallet or pocket. Handy!

The tripod comes in pink, red, blue, black, white, clear, and clear striped and is available now for $9. U.S. customers can also purchase a five-pack for $35.
