DomeHub USB hub stays put and looks good
It's a challenge to keep a home office (or any office) from looking like a great big eyesore if you have a lot of peripherals attached to your computer (not that this is the only reason it might be an eyesore). And if you have a lot of cables waiting their turn to be plugged in, or if your hub itself is one of those little plastic things that collects dust under the desk, things just get lost. In my office, small devices just slide away and disappear if they're not anchored down somehow.
This weighted DomeHub USB 2.0 by Kensington, with non-skid feet, is not likely to fly away, even when you're pulling and pushing to connect and disconnect devices. It contains 7 ports, which should be enough for all of your essential USB needs as well as a few ridiculous USB toys that nobody needs.
Now around $38 at Amazon(Flylight USB Notebook Light included).
