Audiovox digital message center for your refrigerator

No matter how advanced we get in our home technology, the refrigerator as home message center is never going away. After all, there are places in your house that you might not visit on any given day, but everyone opens the refrigerator multiple times a day, even my lazy daughter.
Blending old and new concepts, Audiovox has released a digital message center with a 7-inch LCD screen, that attaches to the front of your fridge (comes in black, white or silver, to match your fridge). It holds 100 photos and is framed by a writeboard for leaving messages the old-fashioned way. Other old school features are a slot on the side for Post-it notes, and a magnetic back for holding other sheets of paper. You can also leave audio messages or, with the more expensive version, video messages with the built-in video camera (basic model will sell for $160, the video model for $200).
It's a simple idea that seems to make sense, at least at first glance (but consider the smart ass comments about this device at Gizmodo).
