The Flamingo: Bluetooth headsets for the fashionable set

flamingo-red.jpgflamingo-blue.pngflamingo-pink.jpg

It's gotten easier to find Bluetooth headsets that fit well and are small enough to go almost unnoticed (behind long hair anyway), but efforts to make them stylish have generally taken the whimsical route, as the results are usually pretty silly looking in my opinion, especially if you're over the age of 17.

The European Flamingo Bluetooth headsets from CellPoint, which just launched in the U.S., look classier than most "fashion" headsets I've laid my eyes on. It lays claim to both comfort and style, by virtue of its lightweight, outside-the-ear-canal design, and its not-too-bold yet not-too-shy aesthetics.

To ensure a perfect fit, the Flamingo's "EarClick" system comes with 6 different sizes of earpads. It has built-in noise cancellation and directional microphone, and provides 8 hours of talk time, 180 hours of standby time, and a range of 33 feet. It comes in 8 different colors, none of them obnoxious in any way.

Priced between $63 and $76 at various online retailers.
