DLO: 4 Hot new hard Shells for your iStuff

I am a walking accident, a woman of mass destruction. As of 7PM ET I can no longer receive or make phone calls on my cell. I think all of New York heard me cursing as I pulled my little guy out of the laundry machine. My advice -- if you care about your gadgets protect them from the elements (and people like me). I'm committed to never making that mistake again, but before I get another phone I'm taking all precautions necessary to protect my new iPod classic.

Thankfully, DLO (my favorite case provider) has just released a new series of hard Shell cases for Apple's newest models. There's UrbanShell for iPod classic, VideoShell for iPod classic/touch, HybridShell for iPod nano/touch, and colored MetalShell for iPod nano.

VideoShell
For iPod classic & touch

This clear hard-shell case offers a snug fit through an included snap-in adaptor. There is access to the headphone jack, hold switch, and Dock Connector, and DLO Surface Shield screen protector. But, the best feature is the integrated kickstand, which allows hands-free video viewing -- simply stand your iPod upright and watch it wherever you go, be it on the plane or at your desk. $20 via DLO.

HybridShell
For iPod nano & touch

This blended design offers a clear polycarbonate front (touch Shell includes DLO Surface Shield protector) and a textured silicone/rubber back (black or white and great for gripping) provide open access to all controls. $20-25 via DLO.

MetalShell
For iPod nano

Your little video might need a little colored case, so this metal faceplate comes in red and blue and provides clear screen protection, open access to the Click Wheel, and openings for the iPod hold switch, headphone jack, and dock connector. $20 via DLO.

This hard-shell case features a rubberized surface and an integrated kickstand for hands-free video viewing. The design allows for open access to the click wheel and dock connector, and includes a DLO Surface Shield clear screen protector. $20 via DLO.

Thanks to iLounge, my favorite supplier of all news iPod, iPhone, iTunes and beyond for the early hookup.
