Korean charcoal toothpaste
If charcoal is good enough for my Britta water filter, it should be good enough for my teeth. Such is the logic of Charcle, a Korean toothpaste, which uses the cleaning properties of charcoal as an active ingredient in their toothpaste. The black color is rather unfortunate for something you have to put into your mouth. As for the taste, the review over at DesignNotes isn't exactly stellar. Still, they did a good job with the packaging. Charcle confirms my love for visiting drug stores when I'm on the road. You will always be surprised with another country's take on a product that you generally don't give a whole lot of thought to.

Lush also makes a charcoal toothpaste. I couldn't find it on their site, but I got mine in their Victoria, Canada store. It has a nice taste and although the tube is small, you only need a little bit each time you use it. It makes my teeth feel really clean.
