Wooloo.org wants you to swap lives

Berlin based arts organization Wooloo Productions operates Wooloo.org, an artists' web portal and online community. Their site allows artists from around the world to have a professional web presence as well as interact with follow artists and curators. It also acts as a platform for "participatory projects" such as Land Grab Online, which is a call for artwork related to the ownership of land.
Wooloo, org is accepting applications for a New York based project, Life Exchange, that truly caught my attention. Way back in 1973, Nancy Weber penned an ad in New York City's venerable free newspaper, the Village Voice, which basically offered to swap lives, apartments and jobs. She attempted this experiment to find out if "people can get out of their skins."
Flip forward to the present, Wooloo Productions is updating Nancy Weber's work with a one-week performance in Weber's apartment located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Starting on October 31st, participants can go to Weber's West 24th Street home. After an interview with Wooloo Productions, they get someone else's clothes, house key and details of another person's life, while leaving their life behind for the next participant. I am really looking forward to seeing the results of these life swaps.
