Water-powered cell phones
At the 2007 Korea Eletronics Show, Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced that it has developed a micro-fuel cell and hydrogen generator that runs on water, which, by 2010 will be used to power cell phones (for 10 hours - twice as long as rechargeable batteries). Eventually, the goal is to develop hydrogen cartridges that only need to be filled with water rather than replaced every few days.

I think this is an amazing idea. I like how we have alternative energy becoming more available. I have an LG though, so hopefully the idea catches on, as I don't have the cash to spend on a new phone/carrier.
