Ceramic Remote Control

ceramic-remote-control.jpg

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the remote control is the only device that not only has to bear the most violent treatment by every member of the family (pets included), but is expected to work well at all times. Yet the poor darlings continue to feed our slothful tendencies without any protest. Inspiration enough for designer Yuta Watanabe to design (concept only) a remote control so fragile that one has no choice but to handle it well.

The Ceramic Remote Control will make you look at remote controls from an entirely different perspective. Because (obviously) it's made out of ceramic. And it's shaped like a saucer to fit into your palm. It's difficult for my left-brain to imagine how this thing would really work. Well, if nothing else, it would make a fine (and useless) addition to my crockery.
