Bluetooth headset: So cheap you can lose lots of them

I'm a person who loses everything. Yep, sometimes it occurs within 24 hours and it's an expensive experiment to run (both my iPod shuffle and nano were gone in mere moments -- too small and discrete for me to keep track of them. Bluetooth headsets are way, way at the top of the things I lose the most, to the point where I had to just give up on having one. So I'm no less than thrilled to have discovered and purchased a cheap-but-useful, and fully expendable, $19.99 bluetooth headset -- the FreeStyler500 by Soyo.
Here's why I made the purchase - one Amazon reviewer X. Liu wrote: "The urge to write something about this headset came from the joy of being able to use it after a washer accident, while the headset endured a 62 minutes washing cycle with warm water, detergent, and dirty clothings. For that, it should be praised."
The FreeStyler 500 is a straightforward and super simple Bluetooth headset with near-excellent sound quality. Sleek sliver and gray finish, FreeStyler 500 sports an attractive design and an almost comfortable fit, a plus to the fit is that the ear loop can be easily removed (if you have small ears). You can easily forget that you're wearing this headset because it's so light. Connect this baby to your mobile phone and PDA. Use Skype? This little guy provides "wireless" VoIP phone call through Bluetooth enabled computers and PDAs.
The overall design and fit to most ears is definitely not perfect. But, if you're like me and lose things faster than a 3-year-old, it's a match made in heaven, at least until you find a way to integrate the practice of awareness and responsibility into your harried life, it's the best alterntive out there for the functionality and price.
Just be realistic, because you are definitely getting what you pay for in this case.
