Barbie iPod speaker dock
Should anyone who would want this Barbie Petal Sound System even have an iPod?
Sure, the ultra pink speaker system has an AM/FM radio, can charge an iPod while it pumps out the tunes, and is compatible with all MP3 players with a 3.5mm headphone jack, but should a little girl have an iPod? Last I checked, the iTunes Music Store was still hammering out the details of acquiring the rights to sell "The Wheels on the Bus." I mean, what else are our future leaders listening to, right?
Do not say Britney Spears. Please do not say Britney Spears.
Available now from Target for $70. The same or similar model is available at Amazon for $49.99.

Maybe I'm a loser, but I really want one of these. I almost never use my ipod, as I hate walking and listening to music (fine thing for me to remember after buying it, ha), but I don't mind sitting in my room and having it play as background music.
Sure, I've got a shiny stereo, but a Barbie speaker dock? It screams pink, ridiculous, and awesome. Not to mention it'd go great with my doll collection.

I am a mother of 3 young girls aged almost 2, almost 4 and 6. My almost 4 year old wants one of these from Santa. And I think Santa might just get her one. You are never too young to listen to music. Ok, so they may start with 'wheels on the bus', but already they are onto Mikka and the Beatles. Slowly but surely I am training them onto The Killers and Radiohead ;-)
