This week, Best Buy kicked off a new promotional contest over at YouTube called the "Tech U Out Video Challenge." The gist of the contest is that you need to tell Best Buy how you'd pimp out your dorm room with tech toys in two minutes or less on a video submitted to YouTube. Entries will be received through August 22, 2007.

Now, I'm not saying that you should fib about still being in college, but the rules are a little vague (e.g. you must be over 18 years old, there's nothing in there about being enrolled in a school). Aren't there plenty of days when your small apartment, nosy neighbors, and unruly house guests makes you feel like you still live in a dorm?

Then again, when I think about how poor I was in college, I'm anticipating some really pathetic stories like this one from BoonBill titled "I need a computer chair."
