Suzanne Vega in Second Life this Friday!

Yes, I mean that Suzanne Vega, the singer/songwriter who recorded the 80s cross-over hit "Luka." Of course, since that time, she has continued to record and tour. I've been a fan of hers for a long time, and own a couple of her albums. I'm always pleased to find out about her new projects.
As she prepares to release her seventh album, "Beauty & Crime," Vega will be holding a virtual listening party in Second Life on Friday July 13th at 7pm ET, 4pm Second Life time. You'll also be able to hang out and interact with the artist. Interestingly, she did a similar event there way back in August 2006, making her a pioneer musician in SL.
Due to bandwidth issues, this event is invite only, and you can RSVP at Cruxy.com.
For the rest of us in real life, the album goes on sale on July 17th, and she will be touring the US and Europe through the summer. Also, a live stream of the event will be hosted at Cruxy after it is over.
