Futura laptop stand helps protect lap from laptop

laptop-stand-futura.jpg

Agree with me when I say that your laptop can rarely be used as an actual lap top? Then you probably agree with at least one of the obvious reasons as well – for one, the heat dissipated from the laptop is pretty distressing. And for another, it's a tricky thing to adjust (and maintain) the screen at a comfortable viewing angle once the laptop is placed on the lap.

Well then, say hello to the Futura laptop stand from LapWorks. There isn't any dearth of laptop stands in the market, but what I particularly like about this one is that it is robust in spite of being made from ultra light-weight ABS plastic (weighs just around 16 ounces), ensuring hassle-free mobility. Though this stand is not as stylish as the Lapdawg stand that we covered earlier, it scores higher in the functionality department. The Futura ensures effective heat dissipation through the smart ventilation slots on the surface. And if you're using it as a desk stand, just fold it right down the middle and fasten at any one of five different angles to position the screen to a level that suits you.

If you're still holding back because of its dull looks, fret not - the company promises to release colorful versions pretty soon because of popular demand. The Futura sells for a very reasonable $30 at LapWorks.
