SmudgeGuard for sketchers

SmudgeGuard is a partial glove made of lightweight nylon and spandex that fits over the pinky and outside edge of the left or right hand to shield the hand from smudges and friction. For people who draw, sketch, or do a lot of handwriting, it reduces smudging and stains on your hand. For those who use a tablet PC or Wacom tablet, it reduces friction so that your hand moves more smoothly over the surface.
I never realized that the reason why left-handed people often write with their hand twisted unnaturally is to avoid smudging across the page, since they have to move their hand across the area already written on. SmudgeGuard is recommended for left-handed children, so they can write without twisting their wrist and hand.
SmudgeGuards come in black, lavender and burgundy, and in five different sizes from extra extra small to large. They sell for $14.99 (discounted now to $9.99) each on the SmudgeGuard website.
