Pink wireless notebook mouse for women
More developers are (finally) designing for women; for example, Kensington's new Pink Si750m LE Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse is built to fit comfortably in a women's hand, because, if you haven't noticed, we generally have smaller paws.
The company sent me one to try out and the first thing I noticed was the contoured grips on the side -- smart -- and the sensitive laser sensor, which tracks on wood, plastic, pretty much any surface, meaning you won't need your mouse pad on plane trips.
Nice features: Up to 6 months of battery life on 1 AA battery, wireless range up to 30 feet, mini receiver that tucks inside the mouse when not it in use, available USB Port, PC/Mac compatible, not to mention the lovely metallic pink finish.
And it's one of those feel-good purchases, as Kensington is donating $125,000 to help combat heart disease, the #1 killer of American women. I know, I know, it should be red but maybe next year.
$51.33 at Amazon.

Enough with the pink crap...it doesn't have to be pink to be made for the comfort or primary use for females of the species. Really disappointed that this boxed in thinking has seeped its way into the tech world...it should be equalizing not adhere to archaic ideas on gender. Plus I just dislike the color pink da** it.
