Tomato Magic Grow Bag

When I lived in an apartment, I dreamt about one day having a garden to grow my own vegetables and herbs. Now, I have an enormous garden which is mine, all mine, but in which nothing edible grows (unless you count the dandelions, which I understand are quite tasty in salad). The reason for my gardening boycott? Bugs and squirrels, not to mention peeing dogs.
But I haven't given up the idea of growing food; I just want to do it indoors, which I can thanks to ingenious little packaged gardening sets like this Tomato Magic Grow Bag Kit. It sells for $21.99 from Clean Air Gardening, and contains everything you need to grow tomatoes without ever stepping outdoors. The kit includes three bags you can hang indoors or out, millennium soil (an "environmentally friendly soil substitute"), seeds, nutrients and fertilizer. You just add water. For apartment dwellers, anyone who wants to grow tomatoes year-round, and those who fear pests.

What a fantastic idea! I'm a city-dweller who dreams of having a garden, too -- though much like you, I may never plant anything edible in it! This tomato-in-a-bag idea is great.
