It seems like we have a charging area in almost every room of the house. With my husband's MP3 sunglasses, my BlackBerry, cameras, everyone's iPods, my daughter's DS Lite, cell phone, and who knows what else, it's gets pretty messy. Every available USB port is already busy plus the hub is parked two deep with gadgets.

That's why I was attracted to the Electronic charging station and desk organizer for the den area. While resembling a man's valet, this handy dandy unit has three top ports with chargers for cell phones, MP3 players, PDAs and more. Front flips up to reveal two compartments for keys, wallet, money clip, business cards and small office supplies.

I don't understand the company's decision to sell the 4-plug surge protector, which is concealed in the back of the unit, separately from the unit, but at $9.98 it's a small quibble.

And in my house it doesn't look as clean and organized as the product shot, but it's still a big improvement.
