Wireless solar-powered speakers for music in the great outdoors
It looks like an oversized thermos flask to me, which means it'll fit right in with all the other picnic paraphernalia - until it starts blasting music as everyone's settling down for sandwiches and coffee. All these speakers need are good sunshine for the day, and they'll play your music anywhere. They're wireless too, so they can be moved around easily while the transmitter unit (which sends a signal of up to 150 feet) stays safely in one place with the MP3 player plugged in.
The 5-watt speakers play music at up to 70 decibels and come with the requisite remote control for even more ease of use. The transmitter unit is connected to music players using the headphone jack, so an old-fashioned radio or CD player will work just as well with it.
